20 years of serving in ministry.

My grandfather was a pastor. My father was a pastor.

I’m carrying on a rich, multigenerational family legacy of men and women who serve the Lord and build His Kingdom.

Serving
together.

I’ve served on worship teams and production crews, taught, preached, and been part of the everyday work of the church. Some of that work happens on a Sunday; some happens around a table or in a conversation with one person.

I also spent a year in AwakenU being trained in ministry. Learning and serving have gone together throughout those years, alongside people who have helped me grow in my faith.

Church life

I’ve served in kids ministry, hospitality, and church operations. That has meant being part of the everyday work of the church: welcoming people, caring for families, and helping things run week to week.

Connection & outreach

I’ve served through outreach, connect groups, and next steps programs. These have been opportunities to get to know people, help them find their place in the church, and stay connected beyond a Sunday service.

Discipleship & development

I’ve worked with people one-on-one through discipleship and personal development. Those conversations make room to work through questions, talk honestly about life, and grow in faith together.

I’m also writing a husbandry manifesto that I use in discipleship. It’s a work in progress, and something I bring into those conversations as we think through faith and the responsibilities of everyday life.

Teaching & preaching

I’ve taught, preached, and written many messages over the years. Preparing a message means spending time in Scripture and thinking carefully about how to share it with the people who will hear it.

I’m currently writing a leadership handbook based on Nehemiah. It’s another way I’m working through what Scripture teaches about leadership and how to put that into practice.

Worship

I’ve served as a worship leader and as a musician on the team, playing acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and bass, as well as singing. Each role has been a different way to support the team and help the church worship together.

Production

As a producer and director, I help the worship and production teams prepare and work together through a service. My focus is on clear communication, knowing what’s coming next, and helping the people on the team feel prepared and supported.

I’ve also developed training and production standards to help volunteers learn their roles and serve with confidence. The practical side includes Planning Center administration, ProPresenter, PVP, audio, and lighting, with preparation that helps the whole team work together.
