Book updates are optional. Here is what happens if you choose to follow a book.
Your email and choices
The signup form collects your email address and the book you want to follow. You can choose to receive broader author updates separately. That option is off by default.
Your address is used for the updates you request. It is not sold or added to an unrelated mailing list.
Confirming and unsubscribing
A confirmation email lets you verify that the address is yours. Updates begin only after you confirm. If you did not request the email, you can ignore it.
Every update includes an unsubscribe link so you can stop future emails.
How information is handled
Email addresses, book interests, and consent records are kept on the server with access restricted. They are not saved in your browser’s local storage. Cloudflare hosts these records, and Brevo processes the information needed to deliver requested emails.
Unconfirmed requests are removed after 30 days when signup cleanup next runs. Confirmed preferences are kept until you unsubscribe; a limited unsubscribe record is retained to honor that choice.
Limited request information may be used to prevent spam and repeated submissions. The form does not accept email addresses while updates are unavailable.
