About the book

Thirteen is a nonfiction study of leadership through the story of Nehemiah.

I’m exploring how Nehemiah led people through the work of restoration, and how we can apply his approach to the teams we lead today.

The study also considers the numerology of thirteen and how I see it connecting to the movement from rebellion to restoration in Nehemiah’s story.

The aim is practical: to understand the pattern behind Nehemiah’s leadership and work through what it asks of us as leaders.
